Scope and who is responsible

Red Barn Innovations, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Red Barn Innovations," "we," "us," or "our"), is responsible for the personal information described in this Notice. You can reach us at privacy@redbarninnovations.com or 3704 Northwest 97th Boulevard, Gainesville, FL 32606-5065.

This Notice applies when you visit our public website, submit a project or general inquiry, apply for a role, request a legal-document PDF, or interact with related website measurement, security, and abuse-prevention features.

This Notice does not apply to information governed by another customer, service, employment, contractor, or relationship-specific notice or agreement.

Personal information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use the site.

  • Identifiers and contact details - name, email address, telephone number, company or organization, job title or role, IP address, and an interaction or request identifier used for form integrity, security, and abuse prevention.
  • Professional and business information - project context, company size, planning needs, requested services, and similar details you choose to provide.
  • Applicant information - resume or CV, professional links, application answers, role and experience information, contact details, and other information you include in an application.
  • Network and website activity - browser, device, and operating-system characteristics; language; referrer; pages and interactions; timestamps; and technical request, delivery, measurement, and security information. Optional Google Analytics activity is collected only after you allow analytics.
  • Communications and preferences - inquiry or application content, preferred contact method, privacy acknowledgment, optional update choice, and records needed to honor that choice.
  • General location - an IP address may indicate an approximate area. The public forms do not request precise geolocation from your device.

Where information comes from

We collect personal information from these sources:

  • Directly from you when you complete a form, upload an application, request a document, or communicate with us.
  • Automatically from your browser or device through applicable browser technologies, server logs, security features, and optional Google Analytics after you allow analytics.
  • From providers that deliver, secure, prevent abuse on, administer, or measure the site and its forms.

How and why we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to and evaluate inquiries and potential engagements.
  • Administer recruiting and review applications.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, deliver, measure, and troubleshoot the site, forms, files, and legal-document requests.
  • Detect spam, abuse, malicious activity, and automated submissions.
  • Measure and improve website content and performance.
  • Send optional requested updates and record communication choices.
  • Comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to providers supporting website hosting, delivery, security, abuse prevention, and measurement; form, content, file, application, and communication administration; and related operational support.

We may also disclose it to professional advisers subject to their duties; participants in a protected financing, reorganization, sale, or similar transaction; authorities when law or binding process requires; and recipients reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, an incident, or a threat to rights, property, or safety.

Where a recipient processes information on our behalf, we use contractual terms addressing processing and confidentiality as required for its role. Advisers and authorities may process information under their own legal duties.

If you allow analytics, Google LLC processes limited website-use information for Google Analytics on our behalf. We disable advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization, and Google Signals in the website integration.

Red Barn does not sell personal information collected through the public site or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep personal information

Retention depends on the information's nature and sensitivity, the status of the relationship, security and fraud needs, and legal, accounting, reporting, and claim requirements. Our general periods are:

  • Project and general inquiries - 24 months after the last interaction or closure.
  • Applications from people we do not hire - 12 months after the decision, or longer where employment, government-contract, or claim law requires.
  • Routine website security, abuse-prevention, and delivery logs - 90 days.
  • Optional Google Analytics event and user data - up to 14 months, subject to the shorter period configured for the property and any deletion request or legal requirement that applies.
  • Optional updates - while active, followed by a limited suppression record used only to honor and document the choice.
  • A longer period only where applicable law, binding process, or a documented legal requirement requires it; the information is then limited to that purpose and deleted or deidentified when the requirement ends.

Browser technologies and identifiers

The public site does not use browser technologies for advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking. Google Analytics is optional: its tag remains unloaded and sends no data to Google unless you select Allow analytics. If allowed, it may place first-party analytics identifiers and measure pages, referrers, browser or device characteristics, approximate location, and site interactions. We do not send inquiry, application, uploaded-file, or form-field contents to Google Analytics.

We store your analytics choice in your browser so the site can remember it. You can allow, decline, or withdraw analytics at any time through Privacy choices in the site footer. Withdrawing disables future collection from that browser and removes available Google Analytics cookies for this site; it does not undo information already processed.

Other cookies and similar browser or device technologies may help protect the site, detect abuse, preserve form or session state, remember another requested preference or one-time display state, and control a restricted feature. Server logs help us understand delivery, reliability, and security whether or not you allow optional analytics.

A submission or attempted submission may include an interaction or request identifier associated with the submission and related technical information for integrity, security, retry handling, and abuse prevention. The identifier can remain associated with the record and may be reused when a person retries a submission. It is not used to track browsing across websites.

Automated security checks

Automated security checks may delay or block a submission that appears automated, malicious, or abusive. They protect the site and do not evaluate the substance of an inquiry or application. If you believe a legitimate submission was blocked, use the data request form or contact privacy@redbarninnovations.com.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling; limit or withdraw consent for sensitive information; object to or restrict processing; appeal a decision; and complain to a regulator. Some rights do not apply to every person or organization and may be subject to verification and legal exceptions.

We do not sell website personal information, use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use website information for decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Where no privacy statute grants a request right, we will still consider a reasonable access, correction, or deletion request voluntarily, subject to security, legal, and operational limits.

We will not discriminate or retaliate against a person for exercising a right protected by applicable law.

How to exercise a right

Submit a request through the data request form, email privacy@redbarninnovations.com, or write to Red Barn Innovations, LLC, 3704 Northwest 97th Boulevard, Gainesville, FL 32606-5065.

We may verify identity and authority before acting, request information reasonably necessary to locate the record, and apply exceptions permitted by law. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

If applicable law gives you an appeal right, reply to our decision or contact privacy@redbarninnovations.com. If an appeal is denied, you may contact the regulator identified in the response or the authority available under applicable law.

How we protect personal information

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a public business website and the information processed, including protections for transmission, access, abuse prevention, and service operation. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sensitive information

The public forms are not intended for government identifiers, credentials, financial or payment information, health, genetic or biometric information, precise geolocation, or other legally sensitive information. Please do not place it in a free-text field or resume unless a recruiting requirement specifically asks for it through an appropriate process.

If we receive such information, we limit use and disclosure to handling the submission or recruiting where applicable, protecting the site, complying with law, and addressing claims. We do not use it to infer characteristics except as disclosed and permitted by law.

Children's privacy

This business site is not directed to children, and Red Barn Innovations does not knowingly collect through the public site from a child under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact privacy@redbarninnovations.com. We will review the report and handle the information as applicable law requires.

Visitors outside the United States

Red Barn operates from the United States. Website information is processed in the United States and may also be processed where providers supporting website delivery, security, communications, or administration operate. Laws in another location may provide additional rights.

Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we will use an available lawful mechanism appropriate to the processing. Contact privacy@redbarninnovations.com with a location-specific question or to exercise a right.

Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice. The version, Effective date, and Last updated date identify the current published text. We will provide additional notice where applicable law requires it.
